Refuge Center, Myanmar

In a war-torn Myanmar, because of unrest, local war, inflation rises and food insecurity, health and daily needs become critical issue. Most families and missionaries in our missions fields are struggling to meet their basic needs. Families are struggles for getting regular jobs to be able to support their family and children in every part of the country. Our Refuge Center is a place for peace, renewed, and shelter for those who are victim of war, and persecution.

There are fear in most people for military regime forceful recruitment and blackmailing and coercing parents to send their children into mandatory military service, airstrike in different places, and the sudden chaotic withdrawal of support for humanitarian aids. The U.N. estimates that nearly 20 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance across Myanmar which is just over one-third of the country’s 55 million people, while around 3.5 million are classified as internally displaced people, or IDPs, who struggle to access food, shelter and medical assistance. About 5 million children are not accessing an education, and more than 750 children are killed only in the last one year in the war and the number continue, and toll continues to raise. At least 55% of Myanmar’s children as “living in poverty” as displaced families struggle to meet basic needs.

​In the past months, as humanitarian mission, we provide medical mission in two different mission station. We had 728 patients in 30 days free clinic. We also provided food distribution in 5 mission fields, more than 2500 families are provided food and clean water. In our Refugee Center, we are serving the Bama, Rohingya, Asho and Karen people. In only 2025 we housed 254 people in our shelter, Refuge Center and there are 79 new believers in the refugee center. There are 39 children who are getting regular education, healthcare and daily needs in our orphanage in Myanmar.
