Missionary Sponsorship
Although JMA Ministries recognizes the great need and the importance of sending cross-cultural missionaries from the "west" to unreached places throughout the world, we believe that we are called by God to support native missionaries to evangelize their own people. We equip and train different men and women who are filled with the Holy Spirit so they may preach the Gospel in places where it has not been heard and plant new churches where none have existed before.
Our own mission experience has demonstrated that it is wiser to support native missionaries who work within their own culture than to send foreign missionaries who must labor in unfamiliar surroundings. A native missionary is highly effective because he/she knows the customs, culture, and language of the people.
Every year the Lord enables us to send out trained native missionaries who are blessed with the Holy Spirit. Our missionaries have a consuming passion to preach the Gospel to their countrymen in the hopes to break the chains that enslave them; set them free from bondage of sin and spiritual darkness. For many missionaries, it’s more than a job. It is a glorious addiction to bring sight to the blind, hope to the hopeless, and freedom to the oppressed.
Our native missions ministry is focused on planting churches in rural villages - enabling the seed of the gospel to take root and grow in communities which previously have not heard the good news of Jesus Christ.
Native Missionaries Bring the Gospel to Life in Loving Action
Besides preaching the Gospel of Christ in words we also preach the Gospel in loving actions. We serve those who are victims of poverty, hunger, unemployment, wars, earthquakes, floods, epidemics, and those broken by their addictions.
We also come to the aid of fellow believers who are facing persecution for their refusal to deny Christ as they continue to advance the Kingdom of God forcefully and lovingly.
We Channel Resources Needed to Effectively Communicate the Gospel
Beyond sending native missionaries out to the field, we also supply them with resources they would otherwise have an extremely difficult time acquiring. These are resources to strengthen the impact of their programs and expand their reach so that the Church can thrive and multiply in places where they not be reach as effectively without the resources. We provide our missionaries with tools such as bicycles, scooters, gospel literature, film and projector, lanterns, etc.
These precious brothers and sisters need our help. Will you help by support our ministry?
2.75 billion People (about 40% of the world’s population) have yet to hear the Gospel of Christ preached in a culturally relevant way. Every minute 102 people die and out of those, 41 people have never heard the name of Jesus Christ nor His teachings - Source
